AVID SKIER
My name is Cami and I love to ski. I particularly enjoy the Canadian mountains: Revelstoke, Lake Louise and Sunshine. My home mountain is Mount Baker. My summertime activities include hiking, paddle boarding, gardening and seeing live music. As you can see, I love being in the outdoors and enjoying Nature and all its seasons to the fullest.
Volunteer Work
Volunteering with SAFE (Save A Forgotten Equine).
Last year while volunteering at the Heart of the Horse benefit, I met Kraken goalie, Phillip Grubauer (co-chair at SAFE).
Volunteering with horses that have been rescued from neglect situations.
I've volunteered at:
-Save A Forgotten Equine (horse rescue)
-Art With Heart (healing childhood trauma through creativity)
-Impact Hub (a co-working space in Pioneer Square).
MY GARDEN
I grow numerous flowers in the garden, and dahlias are my favorites. I also grow apples, pears, cherries, golden raspberries, jostaberries and blueberries. Additionally I create garden sculptures to adorn this peaceful spot. Spending time in the garden gives me a space to empty my head and get into a natural state of flow. I especially love watching the garden grow and transform throughout the seasons and over the years.
